w. C. Baker Rare Books and Ephemera
Time hath endless rarities, and shows of all varieties

W. C. Baker Rare Books & Ephemera is a Brooklyn-based firm specializing in unusual printed and manuscript works relating to significant and unusual currents in science, medicine, religion, social movements, and the performing arts. The founder, Will Baker, first began working in the rare book trade in 2004 as a cataloger in Americana at the William Reese Company in New Haven, Connecticut. He has worked independently in the trade since July 2014, primarily as a consultant for private rare book collectors and cultural institutions.

With graduate degrees in museum studies and library science, study at University of Virginia's Rare Book School and the Colorado Antiquarian Book Seminar, and more than twenty years of experience working for museums, libraries, and booksellers, Will is attuned to the needs of collectors of all kinds—private and institutional, seasoned and new. Services we provide include appraisals for tax and insurance purposes, research and cataloging, and coordination of consignments and charitable donations.
